IN MEMORY OF FRANK DWYER
July 4th, 1921 - December 31, 2006
Frank was an active member of the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War.
After settling in Calgary, Alberta in 1952, Frank worked as a Landman
and
Oil Scout for many years with Canada Cities Service.
He served as the president of the International Oil Scouts Associtaion in 1965
While living in Calgary, Frank was active in post-war and cold
war
service in the RCFA Reserves and Royal Canadian Army Militia.
He was active, played organized basketball and
walked the West Coast Trial at the age of 75.
He was passionate about his volunteer work at the
Nanton Lacaster Museum up until his passing.
His love of life, general buoyancy, and appreciation of
Canada were well known among his family and friends.
He had a great love for gardening.
He was curious about everything, he could find out about a persons
life history just standing in line at Canadian Tire.
He read extensively and was a great storyteller gleaning
from his travels and encoutners with others.
